A quick and easy recipe for a beautiful and delicious chocolate covered strawberry bouquet board, perfect for celebrations or cozy nights in. This treat combines fresh strawberries dipped in glossy chocolate, arranged elegantly on a wooden board.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds (900 grams) fresh strawberries, washed and dried thoroughly
  • 12 ounces (340 grams) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or bars
  • 2 ounces (56 grams) white chocolate for drizzling (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ cup chopped nuts or sprinkles (optional, e.g., pistachios, crushed almonds, colorful sprinkles)
  • Parchment paper for setting dipped strawberries

Instructions

  1. Gently wash about 2 pounds (900 g) of fresh strawberries, then dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Set aside on parchment paper.
  2. Melt 12 ounces (340 g) of semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and glossy (about 5 minutes total).
  3. Hold a strawberry by the green stem or use a toothpick, dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Let excess drip off, then place the dipped berry onto the parchment-lined tray. Repeat for all strawberries.
  4. Melt 2 ounces (56 g) of white chocolate in the same way as the dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the white chocolate over the dipped strawberries using a fork or small spoon. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle chopped nuts or sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Allow the strawberries to rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate hardens with a glossy finish.
  7. Arrange the strawberries on a wooden board like a bouquet, mixing plain dipped, drizzled, and nut-topped berries. Optionally, add fresh mint leaves or edible flowers for extra flair.

Notes

Dry strawberries thoroughly to prevent chocolate from seizing. Use high-quality chocolate for smooth melting and rich flavor. Work quickly as chocolate hardens when cooled. Reheat chocolate gently if it thickens. For dairy-free, substitute butter with coconut oil and use dairy-free chocolate. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 1-2 days. Let strawberries come to room temperature before serving for best flavor.
