A quick and easy frozen mango margarita recipe that blends ripe mango sweetness with tequila and lime for a perfect summer cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups (225g) frozen mango chunks
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) tequila blanco
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) orange liqueur (triple sec or Cointreau)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) agave syrup
  • 1 cup (150g) ice cubes
  • Salt or Tajín (optional, for rimming the glass)
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip into coarse salt or Tajín. Set aside.
  2. Juice the limes until you have about 1 ounce (30 ml) of fresh lime juice.
  3. Add frozen mango chunks, tequila blanco, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, agave syrup, and ice cubes into a blender.
  4. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and slushy. Adjust thickness by adding water or more ice as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more agave syrup or lime juice if desired.
  6. Pour the margarita evenly into prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge or mango slice.
  7. Serve immediately to enjoy the perfect icy texture.

Notes

Use frozen mango for best slushy texture. Fresh lime juice is essential for brightness. Adjust sweetness gradually with agave syrup. Chill glasses beforehand to keep margarita colder longer. For a non-alcoholic version, replace tequila and orange liqueur with sparkling water and orange juice.
