A lightened-up baked brie with a tart-sweet cranberry pecan topping that comes together in under 30 minutes. Perfect for holiday parties, game day gatherings, or any occasion where you want to impress without stress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Let the brie sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Score the top of the brie with a shallow crosshatch pattern, about 1/4 inch deep.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, honey, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, and salt. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until cranberries pop and mixture thickens.
  4. Stir in chopped pecans and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. Place scored brie in a small baking dish. Spoon cranberry pecan topping over the top.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until brie is soft and slightly puffed but still holding its shape.
  7. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Let brie come to room temperature before baking for even melting. Don’t overbake; brie should be soft and gooey, not liquid. Toast pecans lightly for best flavor. Topping can be made up to 2 days ahead.
