Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (about 450g) cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) ranch dressing
  • 1 cup (about 120g) blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 cup (about 120g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup (about 120g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Let cream cheese soften at room temperature.
  2. Shred the cooked chicken into small, bite-sized pieces (about 3 cups).
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, Frank’s RedHot, and ranch dressing until smooth and uniform.
  4. Fold in blue cheese crumbles, shredded mozzarella, and shredded cheddar, reserving about 1/4 cup of cheddar and mozzarella for topping.
  5. Add shredded chicken, sliced green onions (reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish), garlic powder, and a pinch of black pepper. Fold until well combined.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish or small cast-iron skillet. Spread into an even layer and top with reserved cheddar and mozzarella.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
  8. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with reserved green onions and extra blue cheese crumbles if desired.
  9. Serve immediately with chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and shred your own cheese to avoid graininess. Let the dip rest after baking to set up. Can be assembled a day ahead and refrigerated; add 5-10 minutes to baking time if starting cold. For a milder version, reduce hot sauce to 1/3 cup; for spicier, add cayenne or use Frank’s Xtra Hot.
