A colorful, kid-friendly patriotic fruit platter that’s quick to assemble and perfect for summer snacks or Fourth of July celebrations. This healthy and hydrating snack features red, white, and blue fruits arranged in a fun flag-inspired design.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strawberries (about 300g), hulled and halved
  • 1½ cups blueberries (225g)
  • 2 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or white seedless grapes (optional, 150g)
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries, blueberries, and grapes thoroughly to prevent sogginess.
  2. Hull and halve the strawberries. Slice bananas just before assembling; toss in a little lemon juice if prepping ahead to avoid browning.
  3. Arrange the fruit on a large serving tray in red (strawberries), white (bananas and marshmallows or grapes), and blue (blueberries) sections to create a flag-inspired look.
  4. Scatter fresh mint leaves over the platter for a fresh aroma and visual pop.
  5. Serve immediately. If needed, cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for no more than one hour.

Notes

Slice bananas last to avoid browning or toss in lemon juice if prepping ahead. Keep fruit dry to prevent sogginess. Use mini marshmallows for a treat or grapes for a healthier option. The platter is best served fresh and should be refrigerated if not served immediately, but only for up to one hour.
